Dr. Ken Dubeta, MD, FRCSC

Trained in Vancouver and Switzerland, Dr. Dubeta has studied and worked with the masters of European Facial Surgery. An acknowledged expert in rhinoplasty surgery, he refined his expertise in blepharoplasty and facelift surgery with Dr. Claus Walter in Heiden and Dr. Rodolfe Meyer in Lausanne. He has also worked with world renowned facial surgeons in Austria, England and Italy. Dr. Dubeta's practice encompasses the entire spectrum of cosmetic and reconstructive facial surgery.

Commitment and Experience
Dr.Dubeta is committed to staying on the forefront of the latest technological advances. He was the first surgeon in Vancouver (and one of the first in North America) to perform the external approach rhinoplasty - now the standard technique for difficult cases of nasal reconstruction. One of the first surgeons in Canada trained in the use of medical lasers, he employs them routinely to cure snoring, and to remove tumours of the airway, head and neck. He is one of the first surgeons in Vancouver trained in using exciting new Resurfacing Lasers to carry out facial rejuvenation, safely removing wrinkles and restoring youthfulness to the face. He teaches facial surgeons-in-training at the University of British Columbia. Exciting new materials and methods are constantly being introduced into the expanding field of facial plastic surgery. Dr. Dubeta weighs each on the scales of judgment and experience and, when proven safe, incorporates them into his own practice.
